Here we look at the meaning of the word "amazon" and we also examine the qualities of an amazon.

" An amazon is a big, strong, warrior-like woman, someone who reminds you of the mythical Greek women-warriors, the Amazons."


But I think looking at the lifestyle of the Mythical Greek women I would rather stick to this definition, and not base all my interpretation of The Amazons on who the Greek women are.
Amazons are strong, brave and and fearless, they are self sufficient as well. The are female warriors. Looking at the Biblical Female Warriors, I will like to take Prophetess Deborah and Jael (judges 4&5) as an Example, this women were truly brave and fearless. Deborah decided to follow Barak because she was confident that the Lord had gone before them. She took a bold step of Faith. Jael killed sisera because of her bravery and so that the prophesy maybe fulfilled.


Now ladies can we take lead, put all our trust in the lord just like Judge Deborah has done, can we take a bold step towards what we want to do and achieve, can we set our minds to do all we want to do knowing fully well that We can do all things through Christ that gives us strength? Let's not be shaken!
